About Guess the Celebrity
Guess the Celebrity is a party game that shows a celebrity name on screen. One player can hold the device above their head while everyone else gives clues, or one player can read the name and describe it for the group to guess.
How to play Guess the Celebrity
Press Start to show a celebrity name. Either hold the device above your head so you cannot see it while others give clues, or read the name yourself and describe the celebrity to the group. Tap Next for another celebrity or Random to skip.
Who it is for
For groups with overlapping interests in well-known people and a taste for clue-giving. Players do not need identical knowledge, but the round works better when the celebrity is familiar to at least some of the group.

Tips for playing Guess the Celebrity
Decide whether the phone holder is guessing or giving clues before starting. Keep the name hidden from the guesser and agree whether role names, initials or rhyming clues are allowed. Start with a broad clue and become more specific; use Random when nobody knows the person.
Important limitations
Only use the above-the-head variation if you can hold your phone comfortably and securely. Otherwise, let one player read the name and give clues. If your group wants timed rounds, agree on a time limit and use a separate timer if needed.
